In Rajasthan, the churning and speculation is going on in the BJP regarding the face of the Chief Minister. The legislature party meeting is to be held tomorrow, after which the curtain can be lifted from this suspense. There is a strong race for CM in the state. Along with the rest of the leaders in this race, one name is Baba Balaknath, who has won the election from the Tijara assembly seat. However, one of his social media posts has sparked speculation.

While posting on the social media platform X, he said that under the leadership of the party and Prime Minister  Shri Narendra Modi ji, the public was allowed to serve the nation by becoming MPs and MLAs for the first time. Ignore the discussions going on in the media and social media since the election results came out. I am yet to gain experience under the guidance of the Prime Minister.

After his post, speculations are being made about Baba Balaknath being out of the race for CM. Experts believe that the BJP is considering the CM face keeping in mind the Lok Sabha. In such a situation, Baba Balaknath may have been asked to gain more experience. If this happens, then now which faces are in the race for the post of CM in the state, let’s know.

Former CM Vasundhara Raje: The first name in this race is being considered former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, who is considered to be a popular face of the BJP as well as a strong contender for the post of CM. She has been MP five times and has become MLA for the sixth time. She also served as the chief minister of the state in  2002 and 2013. Raje herself wants to be seen in the front seat. In such a situation, if the BJP angers Raje, then it may have to bear the brunt in the Lok Sabha elections.

Central Minister Ganjendra Singh Sekhawat: Central Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat is also in this race. This is a very important face of the BJP.  They have also been ahead in targeting drugs against Ashok Gehlot. In the  2019 Lok Sabha elections, he won by defeating Ashok Gehlot’s son Vaibhav Gehlot from Jodhpur.

Central Rail Minister Aswini Baishnab: Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw is also being discussed as a CM contender. It is being told that the high command is trying to bring a new face into the state, in which case Vaishnav can also be an option. He hails from Pali district and has also been a former IAS officer. His image in the party is that of a clean and fast-emerging leader. He is considered close to the central leadership. He has made several visits to Rajasthan in the last five years and there is no controversy over his name in the state.

Diya Kumari: Diya Kumari of the Jaipur royal family is also in the race. In the assembly elections, She won from Vidyadhar Nagar seat. She is also the state in-charge of the women’s wing in the BJP. Diya Kumari, who joined  BJP  in 2013, has had a great journey.  In  2013, She contested the assembly elections from Sawai Madhopur and won and became MLA. After this, in the year 2019, she contested the Lok Sabha elections from the Rajsamand seat and became an MP.

Om Mathur: BJP national vice president Om Mathur is also being seen as a strong contender. He hails from Pali district in Rajasthan and has also served as the party’s state president from 2008 to 2009. He has held many different positions in the party so far and has played important responsibilities.

CP Joshi: One of them is Rajasthan BJP chief CP Joshi, who has been MP from Chittorgarh for two consecutive terms. Before the assembly elections, he was made the state president, giving him the responsibility of removing factionalism in the state.
