Brahmin CM, Rajput and Dalit Deputy CM, BJP Creates Caste Equation in Rajasthan.
Bhajan Lal Sharma belongs to Brahmin became the Chief Minister of Rajasthan. Former MP Diya Kumari Belongs to Rajput and MLA Prem Chand Bairwa Belongs to Dalit have been made as deputies CM. The party has tried to maintain the caste equation in Rajasthan in a big way, which is why it has given the post of CM to Brahmin and Deputy CMs for Rajput and Dalit.
In Rajasthan too, the Bharatiya Janata Party, like Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, surprised everyone and announced decorating the Chief Minister’s crown on the head of first-time MLA Bhajan Lal Sharma. Also, former MP Diya Kumari and MLA Prem Chand Bairwa have been made his deputies. The party has tried to maintain the caste equation in Rajasthan in a big way, which is why it has given the post of Deputy CM to Brahmin CM and Rajput and Dalit.
Bhajan Lal Sharma(Brahmin), Chief Minister: First let’s talk about Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, who is a Brahmin. Sharma is said to be very close to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the party’s national president JP Nadda. His political career also started with the RSS’s student organization Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP ). Bhajan Lal is the state general secretary of BJP. He has a postgraduate degree in Political Science. Bhajan Lal Sharma, 56, won the Sanganer seat by a margin of 48,081 votes. He hails from Bharatpur district. Before the legislature party meeting, a group photo was taken, in which he was standing in the last row. Bhajan Lal Sharma is originally from Bharatpur, but he was not given a ticket in the assembly elections, because the party did not see that seat worth winning.
Prem Chand Bairwa (SC), Deputy CM:54-year-old Prem Chand Bairwa, who has been declared the new Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, is the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Dudu assembly seat. He is seen as the Dalit face of the party’s Rajasthan unit. He defeated Congress candidate Babulal Nagar by a margin of 35,743 votes. Bairwa is considered the Dalit face of the party’s Rajasthan unit. Bairwa is a PhD degree holder from Rajasthan University, Jaipur.
Diya Kumari (Rajput), Deputy CM: Diya Kumari, a member of the erstwhile royal family of Jaipur, has been MLA twice and MP once. She was on Tuesday appointed as the new Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan. Diya Kumari was a BJP MP from Rajsamand and was given a ticket in the assembly from Jhotwara, Jaipur. She was elected MLA for the first time from the Sawai Madhopur assembly seat in 2013. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, she was elected MP from Rajsamand constituency. 51-year-old Diya is the daughter of Sawai Bhawani Singh of the erstwhile royal family of Jaipur. Bhawani Singh had the distinction as the Lieutenant Colonel and Commanding Officer of the Para Commandos of the 10th Parachute Regiment in the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971.
Diya Kumari is associated with many voluntary organizations and social organizations. They include the Eye Bank Society of Rajasthan and HIV+, an NGO working for children, Rage, for which she is the patron.
