No One Can Stop CAA From Being Implemented In The Country: Amit Shah

CAA persecuted non-Muslim migrants (Hindu, Sikh, Jain, Buddhist, Parsi, and Christian) who came to India on December 31,  2014,  and facing religious persecution in Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh will not be treated as illegal immigrants but given Indian citizenship. A few days ago, Amit Shah had said in a meeting of BJP leaders in West Bengal that no one can stop the CAA from being implemented in the country. At the same time,  the Union Home Minister had said that implementing CAA is the commitment of the BJP.

Let us know that in December of this year 2019, the CAA law was passed by Parliament. After this law was passed by Parliament, there were protests in many states including Delhi. CAA rules likely to be notified before Lok Sabha polls likely in April-May

The Slogan Of ‘Abki Baar 400 Parโ€™

With the slogan of ‘Abki Baar 400 Par, Third Time Modi Sarkar’,  the BJP has started preparing for the Lok Sabha elections. The consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla will be held on January 22, after which the rule of the Citizenship  (Amendment) Act can be notified. A senior government official said that the rule of CAA can be implemented even before the announcement of Lok Sabha elections. At the same time,  the central government is going to issue the rule of CAA soon.

We plan to issue rules for CAA soon: Officials

“We are planning to issue rules for CAA soon,” said an official requesting anonymity. With the issuance of these rules, the law may be put into action, allowing eligible persons to acquire Indian citizenship. The Ministry of Home Affairs will notify the CAA rules. When asked about the possibility of CAA rules being notified before the Lok Sabha elections, likely in April-May,  the official said that in fact,  the CAA rule will be implemented much before that.

The official further informed that an online portal has already been set up for the entire process, which will be conducted digitally. Applicants will have to disclose the year of their entry into India without any travel documents. The applicant will not require any additional documents.

Citizenship Amendment Act: The Bill will be implemented before the Lok Sabha elections, Rules are ready; Will be notified soon

The Citizenship Amendment Act, which became a major political issue after the 2019  Lok Sabha elections, can be implemented before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The government has prepared the rules related to the Citizenship Amendment Act and it will be notified in a month or two. Recently, in West Bengal, Home Minister Amit Saha made it clear that CAA is the law of the country and no one can stop it from being implemented.

Amit Shah clarified on Citizenship Amendment Act

It is worth noting that in West Bengal recently, Home Minister Amit Shah made it clear that the Citizenship Amendment Act is the law of the country and no one can stop it from being implemented. He slammed the Trinamool Congress for spreading confusion about the Citizenship Amendment Act.

What is the Citizenship Amendment Act?

It is to be noted that under the Citizenship Amendment Act, six minorities (Hindus, Christians, Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists, and Parsis) came from Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Bangladesh before 31 December 2014There is a provision to give citizenship to India. For this, the displaced people from these three countries do not even need to give any documents. There is a preparation to make the process of granting citizenship online to facilitate them.

Web portal ready for convenience

A portal has also been prepared for this. Migrants coming from these countries will only have to apply online on the portal and the Ministry of Home Affairs will verify it and issue citizenship. The right to grant citizenship is completely with the central government, but till now the role of district officers was important in the process of disposal of citizenship applications.

The District Officer used to dispose of applications on behalf of the Ministry of Home Affairs and based on that, the Ministry of Home Affairs used to accept or reject the citizenship application,  but the role of district officials in the new online process will be limited and the granting of citizenship will be expedited.

The protests started after the CAA laws were passed by Parliament during the winter session in 2019. Protesters had been camping at Shaheen Bagh and other places for several months. In the wake of the protests, the government decided to be cautious in implementing it and is going ahead with it after a wait of almost four years.

CAA

At Last From aAditri Digital: In unequivocal terms, Home Minister Amit Shah reaffirms the BJP’s commitment to implementing the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), emphasizing that no force can thwart its execution. The CAA, enacted in December 2019, aims to grant Indian citizenship to non-Muslim migrants facing religious persecution in Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh. Shah’s recent assertion indicates the government’s readiness to notify CAA rules, potentially before the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

An official states that the rules are prepared, an online portal is established, and the process will be expedited, minimizing the role of district officers. The CAA, a contentious issue sparking protests, is set to move forward cautiously after a four-year wait, aligning with the BJP’s electoral preparations and Shah’s unwavering stance on its implementation.
