Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra 2.0 Launched with the slogan ‘Nyay Ka Haq Milne Tak’, Kharge says the yatra will focus on these 3  issues.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge launched the logo of ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra 2.0’  at  AICC  headquarters in Delhi today.

Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra 2.0: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge launched the logo of Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra at AICC headquarters. During this, he told the press conference that the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra 2.0 will focus on the basic socio-political-economic issues of the country. According to the Congress president, the yatra will begin on January 14. Under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, it will start from Imphal in Manipur pass through  15  states of the country, and end in Mumbai.

During this, he told the press conference that the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra2.0  will focus on the basic social, political, and economic issues of the country. Talking to reporters on Saturday, Kharge said that Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra 2.0  is a strong step towards providing economic,  social, and political justice to the countrymen.

When will the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra 2.0 Start?

According to Kharge,  the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra 2.0’  will start on January 14. The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra 2.0 led by Rahul Gandhi will start from Imphal in Manipur and will pass through  15  states of the country and end in Mumbai. According to the Congress president, the yatra will cover  110 districts, 100 Lok Sabha seats, and 337  assembly seats.

Kharge “Target on PM Modi & BJP”

Kharge targeted the BJP and PM Modi, saying that We will go among the people and tell them that there is no other way than this ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra 2.0’. Kharge said, “We tried speaking and raising issues in Parliament. But the government did not give us any chance. For the first time in the history of this country,  146 MPs were suspended. PM Modi came at least to the Lok Sabha but he did not even look at the Rajya Sabha even once.

Targeting PM Modi, Kharge said, “The unfortunate incident happened in Manipur and kept happening. But day and night, Modi ji sometimes does a photo session of going to the sea or swimming, sometimes construction is being done of temples, sometimes he goes there and takes out the photo,  sometimes he takes it out in Kerala and sometimes he goes  to Bombay and takes it out.’

Khar said “PM Modi goes everywhere and takes photos wearing new clothes… Why did these great men not go to Manipur where people are dying? Where women are being raped, where people are dying in the cold. Why are you not going there to enquire about their well-being?  Isn’t that part of the country?  You go to Lakshadweep and stay in the water, can’t you go to Manipur and explain to the people?”

On Ram Mandir Inauguration: Asked whether he would attend the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of the Ram temple on January 22, Kharge said he has received an invitation for the ceremony and he will decide on it “very soon”. Referring to the new labor laws and criminal laws, the Congress president said the laws brought in by the government indicate dictatorship.

Kharge also spoke about the INDIA Alliance

All is well in the India alliance. On 19 December 2023, in the fourth meeting of the India Coalition in Delhi, seat-sharing and other important issues were discussed.   Our National Alliance Committee is also in discussion with the state units for seat-sharing talks. Seat sharing will be resolved soon. During this, the Congress President also warned the BJP. He said the BJP would recall that in March 2001, when Sonia Gandhi had resolved to oust the NDA coalition from power at the Congress session in Bengaluru.

After that, every state worked with a full heart, and in  2004, under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi, the UPA not only defeated the NDA but also occupied the power of the Center for  10 years.  Kharge said that today the time has come again when the NDA has become weak. The NDA is only nominal. Whereas the India alliance has major grassroots parties with a strong cadre and ideology. This is the reason why the BJP is intimidating the leaders of the INDIA Alliance from ED and CBI.

India building a strong foundation through Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra 2.0!

The Congress National President has also given a big challenge to the BJP by explaining the purpose of the yatra while discussing Bharat Nyay Yatra 2.0  in detail. The journey from East to West will prove crucial for the INDIA Alliance. Starting from January 14, this yatra will cover a total of  6200  km from East to West i.e. Manipur to Mumbai. Before the honor of this visit on 20 March 2024, Congress will be able to put forth its point of view in 14 states and 85  districts.

Congress lost in 3 states since Rahul Gandhi’s last visit: Modi

In two states, it went out of power.

BJP state spokesperson Ashish Agarwal said that changing the name of the yatra will not help. Congress has done injustice to the public for years. For that, he should take out a forgiveness journey. Deputy Leader of Opposition Hemant Katare said the yatra was a medium to connect directly with the public. We will listen to the people’s minds and move according to it. Former Chief Minister Kamal Nath has gone a step further and remarked that Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Naya Yatra 2.0 will prove to be a milestone in the history of democracy.

Where will Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra 2.0 pass

Mallikarjun Kharge informed that Bharat Jodo Nyay YATRA 2.0 will start from Manipur, Imphal, and pass through  15  states of the country via Nagaland, Assam, and Arunachal, and finally reach Mumbai.  Covering 110 districts, the yatra will cover  100 Lok Sabha seats and 337 Assembly seats. After covering a distance of about 6700 km, this journey will end in Mumbai. He said the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra 2.0 is being taken out on social, economic,  political, and basic issues of the country.

The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra 2.0 will begin from Imphal, the capital of violence-hit Manipur, Kharge said. The total route of this march will be  6700 km long. It will be a 66-day journey and will be addressed twice daily, he said.

Alliance leaders will also get an invitation

Congress sources have said that under this Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra 2.0, the longest 1000 km route will be covered in UP. There will be a journey of 523  km in  7 districts of West Bengal, which will last for 5 days. Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh had already said that all the leaders of the opposition alliance INDIA will be invited to this visit. A total of  110  districts in  15 states will be covered under the march, he said.

The “Manipur” issue was raised again by Kharge

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge again raised the Manipur issue and said,  “An unfortunate incident took place in the state but PM Modi either went to the beach, swam in the photo op, posed for pictures at the ongoing temple construction site or went to Kerala and Mumbai. He goes everywhere, you can see his pictures everywhere. Just like ‘Darshan of God’ first after waking up. But why didn’t this great man go to Manipur?”

Congress chief Mallikarjuna attacked the government over the new labor laws, and criminal laws and said these were signs of dictatorship.

The Congress President told media persons, “We are going to start the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra 2.0’ from January 14. Earlier, senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh had claimed that the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will prove to be as transformative for politics as Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’  from Kanyakumari to Kashmir.

One part of it has “Bharat Jodo Naya Yatra”  written on it, decorated with tricolor colors. The second part has “Right to Justice” in blue color and “Meet Tak” in black color.

The focus will be on Chhattisgarh! – Dhananjay Thakur

State Congress spokesperson Dhananjay Thakur had earlier said the yatra would cover a distance of over 6,700  km in  67 days. Thakur had said the yatra is expected to reach Chhattisgarh after February  16-17 and will cover seven districts of the state in five days, where tribals constitute about 32 percent of the population. “The Congress considers ‘Satyagraha‘ as a strong weapon to fight for the rights of the people and the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra 2.0 will prove to be the biggest and transformative satyagraha of the country after Independence,” he said.

According to political experts, the Congress wants to boost the morale of party workers in Chhattisgarh through the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra 2.0 ahead of the Lok Sabha polls as the party has suffered a crushing defeat in the recent assembly polls in the state.

Congress also gave information about its launch by tweeting on its official X (formerly Twitter)  account.
