PMSHRI: Keeping to the upcoming Lok Sabha Election 2024, BJP has started its Election Propaganda through a different scheme of the Centre. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi intends that India should once again provide leadership to the world through national education,” Adityanath said at the launch of the Rs 404-crore PMSHRI School modernization program at Lok Bhawan. He said, “At present, about five crore children are taking education in various courses in the state, whereas in many countries of the world, their population is not even five crore.” On this occasion, CM Adityanath and Union Minister for Education and Skill and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan announced Rs 347 crore for basic facilities in secondary schools under ‘Project Alankar‘.

Shri Adityanath said that to fulfill the objectives of the National Education Policy 2020, Prime Minister Modi had announced the PMSHRI Scheme on the occasion of Teachers’ Day on the 5th of September 2022. This scheme will give new inspiration to five crore children associated with school education in the state.
He said that various works like Smart Class, Digital Library, Science Lab, Computer Lab, Bal Vatika, Additional Class Room, Furniture, etc. are to be provided in PMSHRI Vidyalayas.
He said that it has always been a question that where the child of the poor studies, there is no facility, no teachers, and a lack of connectivity. Earlier schools were on the verge of closure. Everyone wants their child to read and write properly. Today, 96 percent of the basic schools in UP have been upgraded in Operation Kayakalp. Under this scheme Classrooms, toilets, labs, and smart classes have been built. These happened due to the efforts of all students, officials, and leaders.
Chief Minister Yogi said that we also tried to stop dropouts. We launched ‘School Chalo Abhiyan’ in Uttar Pradesh. Every teacher, officer, and public representative should be involved in this. We worked to connect people with Aadhaar. There are 40 million children in schools. We decided and recruit 1.25 lakh teachers in schools.
Operation Rejuvenation undertaken. Gave bags, books, sweaters, and shoes to the children. For this, DBT is done in April. PMSHRI School is the need of the day. It is an innovative experiment. An experiment has been done with Atal Residential School.
Education Minister said the world is ‘Ram May’

He said that it has been resolved to make India a developed country before 2047. UP will develop before that. In the state, 54 children are admitted to IITs, NITs, etc. without coaching. This is the success of the new education policy. One thousand schools run by the Central and State Governments in Uttar Pradesh have been covered under the PMSHRI Scheme. Schools equipped with modern facilities will be constructed through this scheme. These schools will become the medium of implementation of National Education Policy 2020.

School Chalo Abhiyan increased 40 lakh children in schools

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that before PMSHRI the School Chalo Abhiyan was started to prevent dropouts. Every teacher, officer, and public representative was connected to it. On this, funds are being transferred by the government for children’s bags, books, sweaters, and shoes through DBT in April. Not only this, 1.25 lakh teachers were recruited to meet the shortage of teachers in schools. At the same time, the PMSHRI School Scheme is an innovative experiment in basic education to connect children with technology. It is also the greatest need today.
CM Yogi said that a similar experiment had been done in the state before PMSRI, which is known as Atal Residential School. Just Like PMSHRI, action is being taken to construct integrated schools in 57 districts of the state. For this, Rs 1000 crore has been allocated. The children of the state used to go to other states for coaching earlier.
At the same time, Abhyudaya coaching was started after the Corona period. This coaching is being conducted virtually and physically in every district. Today children here are preparing for NEET, IIT, UPSC, etc. In coaching, IPS, PCS, and many other officers are taking classes for one hour daily. As a result of this, the children of the state are getting selected for jobs through various competitive examinations.
The previous government had a master in copying
CM Yogi said that the previous government had achieved a lot of expertise in copying. During that time, children from Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal, and other states used to enroll to take the examination in the state because they were provided with copying material in the examination here. As soon as the government came, we banned it strictly and did a lot of work on the infrastructure of schools.
