47 in support of the Champai Soren Government, and 29 MLAs in opposition. Which 3 parties supported JMM in Jharkhand?

Jharkhand Floor Test: Jharkhand CM Champai Soren government has passed the floor test held on Monday. The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM)-led coalition government got 47  votes in the confidence motion by the Speaker,  while  29  votes were cast against the motion. During voting, Saryu Rai remained neutral, while independent Amit Yadav did not come to the House.

A special session of the Assembly has been called today for the floor test of the Champai Soren government. Former Chief Minister Hemant Soren and all the MLAs of the ruling coalition led by JMM have reached the assembly to participate in the floor test.   In the  81-member  Jharkhand Assembly, the JMM-Congress-RJD alliance has 47 MLAs and has outside support of one CPIML  (L) MLA.

JMM and alliance MLAs reached Ranchi by special plane from Hyderabad on Sunday evening. All these MLAs have expressed confidence in winning the trust vote in the assembly. Jharkhand Minister Alamgir Alam has said that all our MLAs are united. We have the support of  48-50  MLAs. JMM MLA Mithilesh Thakur also claimed that the JMM-led alliance will win the trust vote. He claimed that several BJP MLAs in the state are also in support of the alliance.

Former CM Hemant Soren, who was arrested in the alleged land scam, also took part in the floor test. He also participated in the debate on the trust vote and lashed out at the Bharatiya Janata Party  (BJP)  in an aggressive manner. The JMM-Congress-RJD alliance has 47  MLAs in the Jharkhand Assembly and has outside support of one CPIML(L) MLA. The BJP, on the other hand, has 26 MLAs. AJSU has three MLAs and NCP one. Independent MLA Saryu Rai remained neutral on Champai Soren’s confidence motion in the House. He had already announced it. Independent MLA Amit Yadav was absent from the House.

As the ruling coalition feared that the BJP might attempt “horse-trading”  of their MLAs,  around  38  MLAs left for Hyderabad in two flights on February 2. The MLAs were brought back to Ranchi on Sunday evening.

In this way, the new government won its majority. All MLAs of the three parties, including former Chief Minister Hemant Soren (except Speaker Rabindranath Mahato),  voted in favor of the trust motion, while 25  from BJP, three from AJSU, Sudesh Mahto, Lambodar Mahto, and Sunita Chaudhary and one MLA from National Congress Party Kamlesh Singh voted against the trust motion.

JMM legislature party leader Champai Soren was sworn in as the chief minister of Jharkhand on February  2 after former chief minister Hemant Soren was arrested last week by the Enforcement Directorate  (ED)  in a money laundering case.  A special court hearing case related to the PMLA  (Prevention of Money Laundering Act) allowed Hemant Soren to participate in the trust vote process. On February  2, the court sent Hemant Soren to ED custody for five days.

The special session of the Assembly began on Monday with the address of Governor CP Radhakrishnan. During the Governor’s address, all the MLAs of the ruling party stood up and raised slogans against the arrest of Hemant Soren. In this sequence, the Governor was also uncomfortable many times.

He asked what was their problem. Except for Chief Minister Champai Soren, ministers Alamgir Alam and Satyanand Bhokta and MLA Lobin Hembram, all stood during the Governor’s address. Even Hemant remained standing. The Governor concluded his address amidst sloganeering by the ruling party MLAs.

Which parties supported Champai Soren?

Hemant Soren was supported by Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal MLAs. At the same time, CPIML MLAs have also given their support to the Champai government. The BJP has 26  MLAs in the state assembly and three MLAs of the AJSU party are also in the opposition camp. After the arrest of Hemant Soren, Champai Soren was sworn in as Chief Minister on 2 February.

All the MLAs staying at the state guest house were called to the lobby below. When everyone came, photography was done. The MLAs completed the figure of 43 by counting. During his speech in the Jharkhand Assembly, Champai Soren described himself as Hemant Soren Part 2. During his speech, Champai Soren said in the House, “Champai Soren is the second part of Hemant Soren. We will proudly say that we are part 2. Realizing the education, agriculture, and the situation here, he started the Sarvajan Pension Scheme. In the village where other officials including the Sub-Divisional Officer did not reach, all of them started knowing the problems of each family under the Your Government Your Dwar Scheme and started removing it. He worked to connect many families with this scheme. During his speech, Champai Soren praised the schemes run by former CM Hemant Soren in the state.

When Bhanu joined  BJP, ED quit, CM Champai Soren reminded of 7  crores

Chief Minister Champai Soren questioned the ED action in the Assembly. He said that Bandhu Tirkey, a member of the same House, lost his membership due to Rs 5 lakh. Here, Bhanu Pratap Shahi is present in the opposition,  whose seven crores were seized by the ED. But,  when he went there (BJP), the ED left him. Their land was also confiscated.

Champai Soren will take forward the issue of Hemant Soren

The new Chief Minister Champai Soren will pursue the issue of Hemant Soren. He also stated his priority for protecting the identity of tribals and indigenous people and their all-round development.

Champai has never spoken beyond party lines or Hemant Soren’s issues. Nor have they been in dispute. The new chief minister is expected to take forward Hemant’s issue of implementing the Khatian-based local policy of  1932 and the Sarna religion code.   The law of giving jobs to 75 percent of local youth in the private sector will also be strictly followed.

Hemant Soren attacks ED

The former CM targeted the investigating agency and said that we grabbed eight and a half acres of land if the ED proves it, I will retire from politics. I will even leave Jharkhand. Hemant Soren said that we have not given up yet. If they think they will succeed by putting me behind bars, it is Jharkhand where many have given their lives. If you have courage, show the land paper in my name,  I promise that I will leave Jharkhand without politics.

Now the process of charging him will be done.   The ED has filed a charge sheet against former Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Chhavi Ranjan, businessman Vishnu Agarwal, Badgain Zone Revenue Sub-Inspector Bhanu Pratap Prasad, fake ryot Pradeep Bagchi, land businessman Afsar Ali, Imtiyaz Khan, Tehla Khan, Fayaz Khan, Mohammad Saddam, Amit Agarwal, and Dilip Ghosh in this case.

Cabinet expansion is likely on February 7!

Champai Soren government may have cabinet expansion. On Tuesday, consultations were also held with the ruling MLAs in the assembly regarding the cabinet expansion.

Chief Minister Champai Soren also spoke to the media after winning the trust vote, saying that the cabinet will be expanded in two to three days. This time it is also certain to be the 12th minister in the government. Jharkhand has a quota of  12  ministers in the cabinet, but the post of  12th  minister in the Raghubar government and the previous Hemant Soren government remained vacant.

ED knocked on Jharkhand High Court’s door,  FIR was filed by Hemant Soren.

The ED has approached the Jharkhand High Court challenging the FIR filed by former CM Hemant Soren under the SC/ST Act against its officials. The petition was filed on February 3. Hemant Soren had lodged an FIR against the ED officials at the ST-SC police station. The FIR alleged that the tribal was tortured. Hemant Soren had lodged an FIR at the SC/ST police station in Ranchi on January  31  against ED officials Kapil Raj, Deobrata Jha, Anupam Kumar, Aman Patel, and others under the SC/ST Act. All these officers belong to the ED’s zonal office in Ranchi.

Complaint of a raid without prior notice in My absence.

He wrote that ED officials had asked him to stay in Ranchi from  January 29  to  31 and in the meantime raided his Delhi residence in his absence without prior notice. They belong to Scheduled Tribes, but none of the said officers of the ED belonged to the SC/ST Act.

He and his family have suffered mental and social harassment due to this false, artificial act of ED. They are hurt. Through the above officers of ED, an attempt has been made to defame them among the general public by spreading confusion in the media.

The former CM also wrote that when he came to Ranchi, he saw through various media the news related to the ED’s raid at Jharkhand Bhawan in Delhi, the Chief Minister’s residence on January  30. This has been an attempt to defame them and their community. They are hurt. Through the above officers of ED, an attempt has been made to defame them among the general public by spreading confusion in the media. Therefore, the entire case should be quashed.
