Arvind Kejriwal will not go to ED! The notice itself was said to be wrong; What is the plan? Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has sent a reply to the summons notice to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) just before his appearance. Kejriwal has called it illegal and asked for it to be withdrawn immediately. Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal said, that he was sent a notice at the behest of the BJP to stop him from campaigning in four states. From Kejriwal’s reply, it is believed that he will not appear before the ED today.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, in his reply to the ED, said, “The summons notice is illegal and politically motivated”. The notice has been sent at the behest of the BJP. The notice has been sent to ensure that I am unable to go campaigning in four states. ED should withdraw the notice immediately. This information has been given by the Chief Minister’s Office. Kejriwal has remained silent on the summons even as party leaders expressed apprehension of his arrest. Just before the appearance, Kejriwal has sent a reply. It is believed that Kejriwal can also approach the court against the notice.

Earlier, the Aam Aadmi Party had said about the ED’s notice that an attempt was being made to implicate him in an attempt to eliminate the Aam Aadmi Party. The AAP had also expressed apprehension of Kejriwal’s arrest. Kejriwal’s former deputy Manish Sisodia has been in jail since February this year in connection with a money laundering case related to the liquor scam. Recently, their senior leader Sanjay Singh was also arrested.

According to sources, Arvind Kejriwal plans to visit Madhya Pradesh on Thursday. He is likely to attend the nomination of party candidate Rani Agarwal in Singrauli. Kejriwal is likely to visit Singrauli along with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Rani Agarwal is also the convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party in Madhya Pradesh.
