Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje on Saturday filed her nomination papers for the Jhalawar Lok Sabha seat. During this, he gave a clear answer to the media about his statement given to the public. Raje said that she has filed her nomination and she is not taking any retirement.
Vasundhara Raje has been in Jhalawar for two days. On the first day, he held a public meeting at Praveen Sharma Stadium in his constituency Jhalawar. During this, after listening to the speech of his MP son Dushyant Singh, he said, ‘After listening to my son, I feel that he should retire now. Raje further said, “You all have trained him so well that I don’t need to pursue him. All the MLAs are here and I think there is no need to keep an eye on them. Because they will work for the people on their own. Raje’s statement was being linked to the issue of her retiring from politics.

Before filing her nomination, Raje offered prayers at the Balaji temple in Radi. After this, she went to fill out the nomination papers along with her supporters. After this, Vasundhara Raje spoke to the media. Speaking to the media, Raje clarified the statement made on Friday in public. Speaking to the media, Vasundhara Raje said that she talked about retirement among the public because there was good coordination between the public and her son Dushyant. “I had said this as a mother. I felt good that there has been such a good bond between Dushyant and the people of Jhalawar. She further said that she has just come out of the nomination, so do not keep the matter of retirement in your mind. I am not going anywhere.
Former Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje has been representing Jhalrapatan constituency in Jhalawar for the last 34 years. She has been MP 5 times and MLA 4 times. This is Raje’s 10th nomination from the Jhalrapatan assembly constituency. On Saturday too, when Raje arrived to file her nomination, a large crowd was present with her. Union Minister Pralhad Joshi was also present on the occasion. Raje sought god’s blessings before filing her nomination. She went to Mansa Purna Hanuman Ji temple and offered prayers and then left to file her nomination papers. The former CM shared information in this regard on the Twitter (X) account with pictures.
