It is being told that a sub-inspector named Bhupendra Singh was sent to Rahuwas for election duty. Here he was using the rented room of another policeman along with him. He got a bad eye on a girl living in this house, after which he committed the crime of raping the girl. After the incident, the accused Bhupendra Singh has been arrested.

There is not even a month left for elections in Rajasthan. Meanwhile, this incident has also given the opposition another opportunity to surround the government. It is believed that this incident, which took place at the time of the election, can harm the Congress. The BJP has started a siege of the state government for this.

In the last few months, there have been many such incidents related to crime against women in Rajasthan, which have raised questions on the law and order of the state. Citing an NCRB report, the BJP has said that 19 rape incidents take place every day in Rajasthan and Rajasthan ranks first in women crime. However, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has responded to this and said that more such incidents take place in Madhya Pradesh than in Rajasthan. She is at the top in women’s crime. CM Gehlot also says that since registration of cases has become compulsory in Rajasthan. Because of this, the figure here looks higher than the rest of the states. Amidst these allegations and counter-allegations, the incident of rape of a minor has once again raised the political mercury here, which is considered harmful for the ruling Congress.
