BJP leaders reach Election Commission to protest against slow voting.
The BJP has approached the Election Commission with a complaint of low voting percentage in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections. The BJP delegation submitted a memorandum to the Chief Electoral Officer. The party has alleged that the voting process has been relaxed by the election officials at polling stations in many assembly constituencies. Apart from this, voting is being done at a slow pace here. Due to which there is a huge decrease in the voting percentage of the assembly elections.
The delegation said in the memorandum that such a situation should not occur in other booths of the state and voting should not be affected, so that all the election officers should be ordered and inspected by sending flying squads. There should be no laxity in conducting the voting, so that maximum voting can take place. The delegation included State Co-Convenor of BJP Law Cell Shri Ashok Vishwakarma and other office bearers.
