BJP is likely to announce the names of around 100  candidates in its first list. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is an MP from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, while Union Home Minister Amit Shah is an MP from Gandhinagar in Gujarat. The BJP’s Central Election Committee meeting is scheduled to be held on Thursday next week, in which the names of the candidates will be discussed. In such a situation, after this meeting, the BJP can release its first list of candidates on the same day. BJP claims that the NDA  will get more than 400 seats in this  Lok Sabha election, while the BJP has set its target of winning 370 seats.

The upcoming Lok Sabha elections may be announced in a few days now. According to sources, the dates of the Lok Sabha elections can be announced in the middle of next month. In such a situation, the BJP can release the first list of its candidates on soon.

BJP Took Feedback from Ground Level

The Bharatiya Janata Party is going to announce the first list for the Lok Sabha elections soon. It is being told that the BJP has prepared the entire mathematics regarding the general elections. Now only the announcement of the candidates is left. Sources say that the names of the candidates have been decided based on feedback taken from the public, internal survey, and strategic discussion.

At the same time, there is a crisis on the ticket of about 80 MPs. This time, Namo App has also contributed a lot in preparing the list of MPs. Public feedback is being taken into account on the NaMo App and the feedback received from here is playing a big role in deciding the future of MPs.

The BJP has also taken feedback from the public by going to the grassroots level. On the NaMo App, people were given the option to express their views about their MPs. Apart from this, at least three leaders were also given the responsibility of taking feedback in each area. In this way, with a bottom-to-top approach, the BJP wants to select candidates who are also liked by the public. Apart from this, the current MPs are likely to get tickets only if they meet the expectations of the public.

The BJP has been continuously taking feedback from its MPs for the last two years. Apart from this, survey agencies have also been used to gather information about Lok Sabha constituencies. Besides, ministers were also given the responsibility to visit Lok Sabha constituencies and gauge public opinion about the sitting MPs. After the information received from the ministers, feedback received from the organization, public feedback, and discussion with the state election committee, the final stamp has been made on the names of the candidates.

According to sources, the BJP  is going to give a total of 6 seats to allies in UP and will contest 74 seats itself. Under this plan, Jayant Chaudhary’s party RLD can get 2  seats, while Anupriya Patel’s party Aapna Dal will also get 2 seats. Apart from this, Om Prakash Rajbhar’s SBSP  can get 1 seat and Sanjay Nishad’s Nishad Party can also get one seat. It is believed that Jayant Chaudhary can get any two seats from Bijnor, Baghpat, or Mathura. Apna Dal is likely to get Pratapgarh and Mirzapur seats.

In Assam, the BJP has agreed to leave two seats for Asom Gana Parishad. Apart from this, one seat is expected to go to the United People’s Party Liberal. Assam has a total of 14 seats, which is more than any state in the Northeast. In such a situation, the BJP is putting full emphasis on this important state. An agreement has been reached on seat sharing with coalition partners and Congress leaders are also joining the party in a big way. It is believed that in the coming days, the BJP will announce the names of some seats in Assam too.

Who will fight from where in UP?

Now talking about UP, Rajnath Singh will get a chance again from Lucknow. Ravi Kishan from Gorakhpur, Harish Dwivedi from Basti, Kamlesh Paswan from Bansgaon, Ajay Mishra Teni from Lakhimpur Kheri, SP Singh Baghel from Agra, Rajkumar Chahar from Fatehpur Sikri, Sanjeev Balyan from Muzaffarnagar, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti from Fatehpur and Subrata Pathak from Kannauj may get a chance again. It is discussed that the  BJP has finalized candidates for about 30 seats in UP and only the announcement is left.

According to the report, in the first list of BJPs, the names of 150 candidates including PM Modi can be announced from Varanasi. Apart from PM Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and National President Jagat Prakash Nadda were present in the meeting held on Thursday. Apart from this, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath as well as Uttarakhand and Rajasthan Chief Ministers also attended the meeting.

Apart from this,  the BJP can also announce the names of Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister Smriti Irani from Amethi, Anurag Thakur from Hamirpur, Kiren Rijiju from Arunachal West and Prahlad Joshi from Dharwad in the coming days. The names of Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan, Bhupender Yadav, and Scindia were also discussed.

Who will be the candidate from where in Delhii?

The New Delhi seat is contested by Bansuri Swaraj, daughter of former Union minister Sushma Swaraj. Bansuri is currently a minister in the Delhi BJP. The name of former state president Satish Upadhyay is also included in the list of probable candidates. Along with this, the name of a high-profile Union minister is also doing the rounds from Delhi. It is for the high command to decide. The seat is currently represented by Union Minister of State Meenakshi Lekhi.

Vishnu Mittal, and Praveen Khandelwal have been named in the list of probables for Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha seat. Vishnu Mittal is the vice president of the state, while Praveen Khandelwal is a business leader and belongs to the Chandni Chowk area. Dr. Harsh Vardhan is currently MP from Chandni Chowk. The names of BJP state president Virendra Sachdeva and state general secretary Harsh Malhotra have been proposed from East Delhi.

The state president himself hails from the East Delhi area. Cricketer Gautam Gambhir is currently the MP from this seat. Yogendra Chandolia and Dushyant Gautam are also named from the northwest. Gautam is the national general secretary of the BJP, while Chandolia is the general secretary of the state. Last time, the BJP had changed the ticket and fielded Hans Raj Hans in the election.

The name of Ashish Sood,  who is currently the co-incharge of Jammu and Kashmir, has also been sent along with West Delhi MP Parvesh Verma. However, there is little chance of a change of face on this seat. Parvesh Verma is considered to have a good hold in this Jat-dominated area. Similarly,  there is little chance of replacing sitting MP Ramesh Bidhuri on the South Delhi seat and Manoj Tiwari in the North-East.

Manoj Tiwari is expected to get a chance from North East Delhi again. Apart from this, Parvesh Verma can be a candidate from West Delhi, and Ramesh Bidhuri from South Delhi. It is discussed that new candidates can be fielded in 4 seats in Delhi. In Bengal, Locket Chatterjee from Hooghly, Subhas Sarkar from Bankura, Sukanta Majumdar from Balurghat, Bhojpuri singer Pawan Singh from Asansol, SS Ahluwalia from Burdwan, Dilip Ghosh from Medinipur, Shantanu Thakur from Bangaon, Nisith Pramanik from Behar can be made candidates.

The candidates for all the seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi are likely to be declared soon. People associated with the BJP say that this time the central leadership has asked for names long ago, on which the Central Election Committee has also started brainstorming. Given this, it is believed that like the year 2014 and the year 2019,  there will be no delay in declaring the names of the candidates. In the last two Lok Sabha elections, the names of the candidates were announced a few days before the nomination.

Who will fight from where in Haryana?

Churning has also taken place on some seats of Haryana on Thursday. Sources say that Rao Inderjit Singh will again contest from Gurugram seat. Apart from this, Sunita Duggal from Sirsa, Dharambir Singh from Bhiwani, and Krishan Pal Gurjar from Faridabad will get a chance. BJP sources say that the names of candidates for most seats in Gujarat, Rajasthan, and UP have almost been decided.

The important news is that in Haryana, the BJP alone can contest all 10 seats. Here the party has an alliance with the Jannayak Janata Party, but there is no agreement on contesting the  Lok Sabha elections together. Soon the party can decide on seat sharing in Bihar and Maharashtra too.

Who gets tickets from where in Gujarat?

Amit Shah may get down from Gandhinagar again. Apart from this, CR Patil is expected to get a chance from Navsari, and Mansukh Mandaviya from Bhavnagar. In Rajasthan too,  names are almost certain for 7 seats. According to this, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat from Jodhpur, Arjun Ram Meghwal from Bikaner, Kailash Chaudhary from Barmer, Om Birla from Kota, CP Joshi from Chittorgarh, Rahul Kaswan from Churu and Dushyant Kumar Singh from Jhalawar can get a chance.

JDU will get so many seats for elections

NDA

If sources are to be believed, the JDU may get fewer seats than the BJP in the  Lok Sabha elections in Bihar. According to the information, Bihar has a total of 40  Lok Sabha seats. Of these, BJP  wants to contest 17-18 seats. Whereas, JDU  can be given 14 to 15 seats. BJP currently has 17 seats and JDU  has 16 There are MPs. The party of two factions of the LJP, Chirag Paswan and Pashupati Kumar Paras, also has six MPs.

The sharing of seats between the two parties is likely to be proportionate. Jitan Ram Manjhi’s party Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) and Upendra Kushwaha’s party RLJP are also included in the NDA, so they can also get three to four seats. The Grand Alliance government fell in Bihar on Sunday when Nitish Kumar separated from this coalition. After this, he joined the NDA on Sunday evening and took oath as CM for the ninth time.

The party wants Shivraj from Bhopal

According to BJP sources, former Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan has also been discussed in this meeting. It was discussed in the meeting that Shivraj Singh Chauhan should be fielded from the Bhopal seat. Sadhvi  Pragya Singh Thakur has been MP from here since 2014 and this time BJP wants to cut her card. There is a plan to replace him with Shivraj Singh Chauhan.

Party sources say that Shivraj Singh Chouhan himself is not in the mood to get down from this seat. He wants to be given a chance from the Vidisha seat, where he hails. Actually, Shivraj Singh Chauhan has a lot of popularity in Madhya Pradesh. He was not made CM even after the party’s victory in the assembly elections. Now there is a discussion about him that after reaching the Lok Sabha, he can also be made a minister in the center. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has been elected MP from Vidisha seat five times from 1991  to 2004. There is a buzz that VD Sharma, who is the president of Madhya Pradesh BJP, may get a ticket from Khajuraho.

Another big name in Madhya Pradesh, Jyotiraditya Scindia, has also been discussed. He can be fielded only from Guna-Shivpuri, the traditional seat of the family. In the BJP, including the big states of North India,  there has been a considerable agreement on tickets in the southern states of Kerala, and Telangana. Sources say that by March 10, the BJP will declare the names of more than half of its candidates. Let us know that in 2019 too, the BJP had shown speed in deciding the names of the candidates. Till March 21, the party had announced the names of 164 candidates.

30 percent of MPs likely to be replaced

BJP President JP Nadda and Home Minister Amit Saha had held separate meetings with the leaders of the core group of different states in the past and discussed the candidates. It had panels on almost every seat. Later, the central leaders had asked to reduce the panel. Now that the BJP leadership has to go before the Central Election Committee regarding the list of various states, it has discussed each seat separately with the Prime Minister.  JP Nadda and Amit Shah were present in this meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This is the reason why the Central Election Committee meeting was delayed considerably.

Sources said the first list could have around 200 candidates. Most of these seats will be those which the BJP lost last time. Apart from this,  the party can also announce the names of its big leaders Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in the first list. About 30 percent of the MPs are likely to be replaced. The BJP leadership may also give tickets to some MLAs.

Amid discussions of Lok Sabha elections, candidates for Andhra Pradesh Assembly have started being announced. Telugu Desam Party President Chandrababu Naidu and Janasena Party chief Pawan Kalyan have released a list of 118 candidates. In this,  TDP candidates will contest on 94 seats and  Jana Sena candidates on 24 seats. At the same time,   Jana Sena will contest three out of 25 Lok Sabha seats in the state.

The biggest thing about this announcement is that both the leaders have left the way open for coordination with the BJP. Chandrababu Naidu said that when the decision regarding BJP is taken, we will inform it. Andhra Pradesh has a total of 175 assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats. Lok Sabha and Assembly elections will be held simultaneously.

Two weeks ago, Chandrababu Naidu met top BJP leaders Amit Shah and JP Nadda in Delhi. Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan expressed hope that the three parties would come together to defeat the ruling YSRCP. It is also interesting that the names of 118 candidates in the alliance of TDP and Jana Sena have been selected from among 1 crore citizens. In this too, TDP is fielding the maximum number of new candidates. It is being considered as a new step in the politics of the state.
