Congress releases fourth list of candidates for Rajasthan CEC  meeting in Delhi today; Names will be announced.

The fourth list of Congress candidates for Rajasthan assembly elections is likely to be released today. For this, the Congress CEC will meet in Delhi. The names may be finalized in the meeting. A screening committee meeting was held in Delhi on Sunday. In which about 100 names have been discussed.  We have decided on 65 names. While the remaining names are to be decided today.

The Congress has announced 33 candidates in the first list, 43  in the second, and  19 in the third. A total of 95 candidates have been announced. Senior party leaders, including CM Gehlot, are camping in Delhi. There is talk that Joginder Singh Awana, who joined Congress from BSP, has finalized the ticket from the Nadbai assembly constituency of Bharatpur.

So far, the Congress has released three lists. In all three, Gehlot-Pilot supporters have got tickets. Sachin Pilot has been successful in getting tickets to his supporting MLAs. While Gehlot has also not lagged behind. Gehlot’s supporters have got bumper tickets. Before giving tickets, the party has conducted surveys at its level. Feedback has been taken. Candidates have also taken biodata. But looking at all three lists so far, it is clear that only Gehlot-Pilot supporters have got tickets. Senior ministers have also got tickets. New faces don’t have the opportunity. At the same time, the bet has been placed on old faces. Thanagazi MLA Kanti Meena, who supported the Gehlot government by winning the election as an Independent, may also get a ticket. The CEC meeting is scheduled to be held at 5 p.m. today at the AICC headquarters. Senior Rajasthan Congress leaders will attend the meeting. 65 names have likely been agreed upon. These names will be finalized by the CEC today. After this, the list will be released.

Political analysts say that it is very likely that MLAs who have joined Congress from BSP and Independent MLAs will get tickets. The Congress has so far released three lists. In all three, independent MLAs have got tickets. Wajib Ali from Nagar and Lakhan Meena from Karauli, who joined the Congress from the BSP, have been given tickets. CM Gehlot has indicated that the MLAs who save the government from falling will get tickets. Let me tell you that Sachin Pilot had put the Gehlot government in crisis by rebelling in  2020.
