For the first time, the Election Commission of India and the State Election Commission of India have started the voting facility from home in the upcoming assembly general elections in Rajasthan. Under this, on Tuesday, senior citizens and disabled people in Alwar city expressed happiness by voting sitting at home.

He said that there were some voters who were not able to vote in the assembly and general elections for two-three times. He is lying in a cot at home, but today he expressed happiness and exercised his vote after getting the right to vote at home from the Election Commission of India.

So far, 24 to 25 people have voted sitting at home. At the same time, the Election Commission of India described this innovation as a good step by the elderly. 80-year-old Uma Devi said that it is good that I will not have to go to vote anymore, this facility of the Election Commission of India was very good while sitting at home.

It is a very wonderful scheme for the disabled. This has given us a lot of convenience. In the last election, I along with my wife had cast my vote in EVMs. The facility of voting sitting at home has benefited a lot. Now we will not have to go to the booth to cast our vote.
