INDIA Alliance latest Updates On Uttar Pradesh And Maharastra, Let us Unveil it.

Akhilesh Yadav said that we respect BSP chief Mayawati. My statement made in Ballia has been misunderstood.

Akhilesh Yadav On Mayawati

INDIA Alliance: The political stir in Uttar Pradesh regarding the Lok Sabha elections is very fast. Churning has also started on the sharing of seats in the INDIA coalition of opposition parties. Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party national president and former CM Akhilesh Yadav has made a big statement about the inclusion of BSP chief Mayawati in India. According to sources, Akhilesh Yadav is ready to bring Mayawati into the INDIA alliance.

In the important meeting of SP leaders in Lucknow, Akhilesh Yadav said that BSP supremo Mayawati is a senior leader, and we all respect her, I also do and you all should also do it.  According to sources, Akhilesh said that SP leaders should not speak anything against Mayawati. Regarding the BSP’s coming into the India alliance, the SP chief said that Congress is in talks with the BSP to bring it into the India alliance.

“Misunderstood statement on Mayawati”

According to sources, Akhilesh Yadav said that we have no objection to BSP joining the INDIA alliance. Akhilesh said that the statement made on Mayawati in Ballia was misunderstood. My reference was that everywhere there are posters of Modi’s guarantee, in such a way it was laughed that who will take the guarantee after the election? I did not intend to say anything like that. “We will embrace whoever is against them to stop the BJP,” Akhilesh said.

Discussion on seat sharing with Congress

The SP national president’s statement came at a time when the Congress and SP discussed seat sharing in UP in Delhi on Tuesday. Senior SP leader Ram Gopal Yadav, who attended the meeting, said that all the seats were discussed in the meeting. The next meeting will be held on January 12.

‘BSP more trustworthy’, Congress wants to join INDIA

INDIA: All like-minded parties must come together to defeat the BJP,” he said. But the SP does not approve of this. This is the reason why the SP is constantly attacking the BSP after the India coalition meeting.

The constituents of the India alliance are busy finalizing the seat-sharing deal to unitely take on the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections. The Congress alliance committee is holding separate discussions with the constituent parties.  Meanwhile,  the Congress has increased the mercury of the politics of the state by supporting the BSP to come into the alliance. Congress general secretary in-charge Avinash Pandey believes that all like-minded parties should come together to defeat the BJP. But the SP does not approve of this. This is the reason why the SP is constantly attacking the BSP after the India coalition meeting. At the same time, the BSP is not taking any concession in answering.

In such a situation, the question is why the Congress wants to include the BSP in the coalition. There are several reasons for this. The first is that with the BSP coming into the INDIA alliance,  the concept of an opposition candidate from one seat against the NDA can be realized. At the same time, the BSP’s vote percentage is more important than this.

INDIA

BSP has about 20 percent votes

The BSP has about 20 percent votes. The 2019  Lok Sabha elections were contested by the SP-BSP in alliance. In this election, BSP got ten seats with  19.4 percent votes and SP got five seats with  18.1 percent votes. The Congress won just one seat with  6.4 votes. The reason for this is that there are  21  percent Dalit voters in the state and the BSP is the first choice of Dalit voters in the election.

The SP-BSP had fought in alliance.

Congress considers BSP’s stand positive

On the other hand, the way the Samajwadi Party is putting pressure on the Congress for the seat,  the party is also using the BSP to counter it. A senior party leader said the state Congress considers an alliance with the BSP more beneficial than the SP in the Lok Sabha. He believes that upper-caste voters can also vote for the alliance. The Congress is considering the BSP’s stand as positive.

BSP may not object to being part of the INDIA alliance

A state Congress leader said that the BSP is claiming to go it alone, but there is no comment on the speculation of an alliance with the Congress. BSP chief Mayawati herself is responding to SP’s comments. In such a situation, the BSP probably does not mind becoming part of the coalition.

Challenge for Congress In Uttar Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh has been very challenging for the Congress. The party made several attempts to regain the lost ground but failed. The Congress-SP alliance in the  2017 assembly elections also did not yield any results. In these elections, the party could get only seven seats by contesting 114  seats, while in the 2012  elections, it won  28 seats.

INDIA: Dispute over seat sharing in Maharashtra

Discussions are going on about seat sharing among the constituents of the INDIA alliance. Meanwhile, news is coming out from Maharashtra that the Congress has opposed the claim of Shiv Sena (UBT)  in  23  seats out of  48 Lok Sabha seats in the state. After the split in the party, this claim of the saffron camp is not considered correct. Shiv Sena leaders have also opposed this allegation made by the Congress. He has said that the party’s vote bank is intact. At the same time, NCP has not made any special demand during the meeting except to include Prakash Ambedkar’s Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi in India Alliance.

INDIA

It is reported that in the meeting, all the parties approved the inclusion of Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi in the INDIA alliance. The talks on seat-sharing took place at the residence of Congress’ National Alliance Committee convener Mukul Wasnik.   There was a detailed discussion between the constituents of MVM regarding seat sharing in the Lok Sabha elections.  In the 2019 elections, the  Shiv Sena contested  23  seats with the BJP and won  18 seats.

Tough discussions on seat-sharing are likely to take place in the next meeting.  With an eye on  26 seats, the Congress is projecting itself as the most important player in the alliance as it is intact unlike its Maharashtra allies Sena (UBT) and NCP.

Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi is an organisation led by Prakash Ambedkar. Prakash Ambedkar is considered to have a hold in the Vidarbha region and he can demand seats in the Akola region of Vidarbha in Maharashtra. He has also been a three-time MP from Akola seat.

Former Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot, senior Congress leader Salman Khurshid, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee president Nana Patole,  former chief ministers Ashok Chavan and Balasaheb Thorat were among those present during the consultation. Nationalist Congress Party leader Jitendra Awhan and  Shiv Sena (UTB) leaders Sanjay Raut and Vinayak Raut were also present at the meeting.

India alliance will win maximum seats: Sanjay Raut

After a long meeting with the coalition committee of the Congress, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said that we all agreed to contest elections together. He hoped that the INDIA alliance would win the maximum number of seats in Maharashtra. According to him, all the seats were discussed and a preliminary consensus has been reached.

He, however, refused to divulge the number of seats. It has been agreed to include Prakash Ambedkar in MVM.  These two parties will also have a stake in the Lok Sabha election seat sharing. A senior party leader said that except for Mumbai South, all the seats have been agreed upon. Shiv Sena’s Arvind Raut is an MP from this seat and Congress is also claiming this seat.

INDIA

The Sena, NCP, and Congress are included in the Maha Vikas Aghadi  (MVA), which ran the government in Maharashtra until its government fell after the split in the Sena in  2022. A few months later, the NCP also split. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut said, “You have seen this scenario. All the MVA members came out of the meeting smiling. You can understand the meaning. This means that the MVA members — Shiv Sena, Congress, and NCP — sat in an important meeting to discuss seat-sharing and we agreed on most of the points. Nana Patole, Balasaheb Thorat, and Ashok Chavan were there.”

We are together, says Sanjay Raut

Sanjay Raut said, “We are together. In Maharashtra, a large number of seats will be seen for the alliance. There is no difference of opinion on seat sharing. I want to assure everyone that we will fight the elections together. We have no objection to seat sharing.” NCP leader Avahan later said: “The talks were constructive. It was more successful than expected. Every seat was discussed. It is true that Shiv Sena wants to contest more seats and talks are on between Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray over it,” he said.

Maharashtra has 48  Lok Sabha seats

In  2019, the Congress won one of the  25  seats, while the NCP won four of the  19 seats. Maharashtra has 48 Lok Sabha seats. In these elections, Prakash Ambedkar’s party contested 47 seats. The party did not win any seats but managed to get about seven percent of the votes. In such a situation, the party can benefit in the election.

At Last From aAditri Digital

In the complex landscape of Indian politics, the Lok Sabha Election 2024 is witnessing intricate maneuvering among political parties. Samajwadi Party’s national president, Akhilesh Yadav, has expressed respect for BSP chief Mayawati and clarified that his previous statement in Ballia was misunderstood, emphasizing that SP welcomes BSP into the India alliance. This comes amid discussions on seat-sharing, with Congress aiming to include BSP, facing opposition from SP.

The political dynamics are shaped by strategic considerations, with Congress viewing BSP’s inclusion as an opportunity to consolidate anti-BJP votes, especially with BSP holding a significant 20% Dalit vote share in Uttar Pradesh. SP, on the other hand, focuses on seat-sharing concerns and is critical of Congress’s alliance strategy.

INDIA

In Maharashtra, the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) members – Shiv Sena, Congress, and NCP – engaged in discussions on seat-sharing. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut expressed optimism about the alliance winning maximum seats, highlighting unity despite past political splits.

As the alliances take shape, the political chessboard reflects the intricate interplay of regional dynamics, caste considerations, and the pursuit of a united front against the BJP in the upcoming elections. The outcome hinges on navigating these complexities and building consensus among diverse political entities.
