Mimicry

In a viral video, Kalyan Banerjee said on Sunday, “I will keep doing mimicry. It is an art form. I would do it a thousand times if I needed to. I have all the fundamental rights to express my views. You can put me in jail. I will not back down.” Banerjee mimicked Vice President Dhankhar while Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was shooting it on his phone during a protest by suspended MPs at Parliament’s Makar Gate last week, triggering a political controversy.

Taking over the mimicry incident, Dhankhar on Sunday described himself as a “VICTIM”  and said that despite all the insults and insults he has tolerated,  one should never deviate from the path of service. He also said that one should give space to the point of view of others,  but when the other person offers ideas intending to put you out of your path, then people should show their “Backbone”.

Addressing a group of Indian Statistical Service probationers in New Delhi, Dhankhar said that even though he is the Vice President and Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, “People Do Not Spare Me Either.”

He said over the Mimicry, “I’m a victim. A suffering person knows how to cope from the inside. Take all insults from one direction – we are in the service of Mother India. You have to show honesty and high standards.” He asked over the Mimicry Issues, “Should I Change My Mindset? No, Will It Result In Me Losing My Way? Nope.
