PM Modi in Varanasi: Speaking at the inauguration of the cultural festival, PM Modi said, “You all have come here as my family members, more than just being guests. I welcome you all to the Kashi Tamil Sangamam. ”

Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the  ‘Second Edition of Kashi Tamil Sangamam in Varanasi’ in Varanasi on Sunday. He launched the second edition of Kashi Tamil Sangamam from Namo Ghat on Sunday evening on the first day of his two-day tour of his constituency Varanasi. During this, PM Modi also digitally flagged off the Kashi Tamil Sangamam Express from Kanyakumari to Banaras.

he second edition of ‘Kashi Tamil Sangamam’ will also feature lectures on literature, ancient texts, philosophy, spirituality, music, dance, drama,  yoga, and Ayurveda. Seminars on innovation, business, knowledge exchange,  education technology  and next-generation technology have been planned.  Over  1,400 people from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry will visit  Varanasi, Prayagraj, and Ayodhya during the ‘Kashi Tamil Sangamam 2.0’ festival, which will be held from Sunday,  December  17  to December  31.

Art, music,  handlooms, handicrafts, cuisine, and other specialty products from Tamil Nadu and Kashi will also be on display at the event, according to an official statement. Apart from this, cultural programs based on the cultures of Kashi and Tamil Nadu will also be organized.  PM Modi arrived at Babatpur Airport by a special plane at around 3.15 pm. He was received by Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. During this, the people standing to welcome PM Modi raised their slogans.

Prime Minister Modi arrived on a two-day visit to his parliamentary constituency Varanasi on Sunday. During his visit, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of  37  projects worth more than Rs 19,000  crore for the development of Kashi and surrounding areas. After reaching Kashi, people showered flower petals on PM Modi’s convoy. Meanwhile, his caravan was stopped and an ambulance was given way.

Speaking at the inauguration of the cultural festival, PM Modi said

• “You all have come here as a member of my family, more than just being guests. I welcome you all to the Kashi Tamil Sangamam. ” He further said that the voice of ‘Kashi Tamil Sangamam’  in Varanasi is going to the whole country, to the whole world. I congratulate all the concerned ministries,  the UP government, and all the citizens of Tamil Nadu for organizing this event.
