Former Rajasthan minister Ram Gopal Yadav joins BJP, Another major setback for Congress in Rajasthan.

Recently, Rameshwar Dadhich, considered close to CM Ashok Gehlot, joined the BJP. Now former minister Ram Gopal Bairwa and spokesperson Pankaj Mehta have also joined BJP in the presence of CP Joshi.

In Rajasthan, the Congress has once again suffered a major setback. Long-time Congress spokesperson Pankaj Mehta and former minister Ramgopal Barewa have joined the BJP. Both leaders wanted to contest elections from Kota. Pankaj Mehta wanted tickets from Ladpura and Kota South. At the same time, Ramgopal Barewa wanted to contest elections from Pipalda Assembly. But when he did not get a ticket from the Congress, he joined the BJP. On Saturday, he joined the BJP in the presence of state BJP president CP Joshi.

Earlier, Rameshwar Dadhich, considered close to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, had joined the BJP. He wanted to contest on a Congress ticket from Sursagar seat. But when he did not get a ticket, he filed his nomination as an Independent. But later he withdrew his nomination and joined the BJP.

Dadhich’s withdrawal of nomination brought a sigh of relief to the BJP as if he had contested as an Independent, it would have cut the Hindu votes and benefited Congress candidate Shahzad Khan. According to the information, many other Congress leaders have joined the BJP. In such a situation, it is clear that the resentment of the leaders is making it difficult for the party. Elections to the 200-member Rajasthan Assembly will be held on November 25 and the results will be declared on December 3.
