Madhya Pradesh Elections 2023: Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s Budhni beats Kamal Nath’s Chhindwara
MP Election 2023 Voting Live: Voting is underway for 230 assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh. Till 3 pm, 60.52 per cent voting was recorded. Bhopal recorded the lowest voter turnout in the four assembly seats. At the same time, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has defeated Kamal Nath’s stronghold Chhindwara in voting.
Bhopal: Voting is underway in Madhya Pradesh. Till 3 pm, a total of 60.52 percent voting was recorded in the state. Lanji assembly constituency in Balaghat district recorded the highest voter turnout. At the same time, there has been less voting in Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has defeated Kamal Nath’s stronghold Chhindwara in the voting constituency.
Shivraj’s Budhni beats Kamal Nath’s stronghold in voting
Budhni, the constituency of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, recorded a voter turnout of 66.99 per cent. At the same time, 61.08 percent voting has been recorded in Kamal Nath’s stronghold Chhindwara. Jyotiraditya Scindia’s Gwalior also saw a slowdown in voting. In Gwalior, there was low voter turnout till 3 pm. Gwalior East recorded 43.82 per cent voting, Gwalior South 47.24 per cent, Gwalior 50.35 per cent and Gwalior Rural 57.03 per cent.
At the same time, Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan gave information by holding a press conference. In Madhya Pradesh, 60.52 per cent voting was recorded till 3 pm. Lanchi assembly constituency in Balaghat district recorded the highest voter turnout of 74.04 per cent. Sailana assembly constituency in Ratlam district recorded 73.58 per cent voter turnout. Ratlam Rural recorded 73.13 per cent voting.
Lowest voting in Bhopal, Alirajpur and Indore
The lowest voting was recorded in the capital Bhopal till 3 pm. Bhopal’s Central assembly seat recorded a voter turnout of 37.04 per cent. At the same time, 40.18 percent voting was recorded in Bhopal South-West Assembly seat. The voter turnout in Indore-1 assembly constituency was 52.63 per cent, while in Indore-1 assembly constituency it was 51.49 per cent.
