Earlier this week, barely days after the Congress government took charge in the state, several important files in the animal husbandry department were found either missing or damaged. Both Yadav and Revanth were allies in the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). However, there was never a public disagreement between them.

Recently, the new government took over. just as Revanth Reddy the Congress administration seems to be settled in Telangana, with a strange case of damaged and missing government files in the state. It is blamed on Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader and former animal husbandry minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav is one of the allies of , one of the CM’s oldest political rivals.

Earlier this week, barely days after the Congress government took charge in the state,  several important files in the animal husbandry department were found either missing or damaged. Yadav’s Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Kalyan Kumar and four others were booked following a complaint by a security guard of the department. The watchman, in his complaint, told police that he had seen Kumar, computer operators Mohan and Eliza, and attendants Venkatesh and Prashanth in the office at the time of the incident. During a routine check, the watchman found the damaged files.

Sources said “the destroyed” and  “some stolen” files were related to the procurement of fodder for cattle. “Imagine the scale of corruption that they were in such a hurry to destroy files that would have exposed their misconduct,” said a Congress leader on condition of anonymity in the report. However, BRS insiders said that the minister had nothing to do with the incident. “If the minister had something to hide, he could have taken the files while vacating the office,” said one Net. They have nothing to do with it (the incident).

The case of missing files could potentially be a ‘Pandora’s box’ for BRS. This means that his difficulties may increase in the coming days. At present, the investigation of the case is in its initial stages, any alleged irregularity will give Congress and BJP a chance before the Lok Sabha elections. For the BRS, the issue could further damage the party’s prospects in the Lok Sabha polls. Because he was accused of corruption during his nine-year rule.
