Bihar Politics: Why did BJP join hands with Nitish?  The story moved on from the Temple-Bharat Ratna issue.

The BJP’s real goal behind the change of power in Bihar is to repeat the result of 2019 in this year’s Lok Sabha election. If the consolidation of votes is like the last election, then the BJP can easily achieve this goal.

The condition is that the BJP and other constituents of the NDA assess the public disturbance against their sitting MPs and allow the new face. Because, except for a few MPs of the count, the majority did not do much for the development of their area. There is also the anger of voters against him.

It was after the death of the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in 1984 (there was a sympathy wave). This was more than the votes polled by the Congress (51.8) in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

In terms of seats, the Congress had won only 48 of the 54 seats in the then-united Bihar. In 2019, the NDA won 39 of the 40 seats.

To repeat the 2019 result, the BJP was left with no option but to cooperate with the JDU. If Nitish’s nearly 22 percent vote share had gone to Mahagathbandhan or INDIA (INDIA), then the BJP could have been content with the result of the 2015 assembly elections.

The NDA, which had won 31 out of 40 seats in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, was reduced to less than 60 seats in the 2015 assembly polls. This is equal to the number of assembly constituencies that come under the total 10 Lok Sabha constituencies.

This figure was preventing the BJP’s central leadership from believing the claim of the state units that there was a wave in favor of the party after the consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. In time, the top leadership took Nitish into his fold.

Grand Alliance gets an edge due to JDU’s stay

The vote count changes in every election. The votes of all the parties in the coalition don’t need to keep moving with their changing commitments. There is also a change in this. Sometimes less, sometimes more. But, if the vote received by JDU in 2019 was transferred to the Grand Alliance with minor reshuffles, then the BJP could have faced big trouble.

In that year’s Lok Sabha elections, the Grand Alliance parties got 30.76 percent of the votes. JDU’s vote percentage was 21.81. The sum of both is 52.57 percent. This is close to the NDA’s record vote share of 53.25 percent.

However, the then Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (now Rashtriya Lok Janata Dal) and Hindustani Awam Morcha accounted for 3.66 and 2.30 percent (both 5.96 percent) respectively in the Mahagathbandhan’s 2019 vote.

NDA is stronger in the new equation

The RLJD and the Hindustani Awam Morcha are allied with the NDA in this year’s Lok Sabha polls. If the two votes in 2019 go to the NDA, its electoral success will be undoubted.

That is why RLJD president Upendra Kushwaha and Morcha founder Jitan Ram Manjhi were persuaded by the BJP’s top leadership to form a new equation.

Lok Janshakti Party (Ramvilas) chief Chirag Paswan has reacted to this activity.

After Nitish Kumar’s resignation, all the big leaders have given their reaction. Where RJD is an attacker on Nitish over this resignation. At the same time, NDA leaders are also leaving no stone unturned to surround the RJD.

Chirag Paswan, while talking to the media, said that what is the outline of the government in the coming days, and what will be added to the agenda … These issues will be discussed.

The vision of Bihar First Bihari First

Chirag further said that we are happy that the NDA government is being formed again in Bihar. Our thinking is of ‘Bihar First, Bihari First’. He said that I had a policy opposition to CM Nitish and if his policies continue, then this opposition will continue even further.

Chirag said that he has always believed that Bihar has not developed due to Nitish Kumar’s policies. “If the vision of BJP and LJP (Ram Vilas) is combined in the new government, it will be beneficial for Bihar,” he said.

Lalu Prasad Yadav’s daughter lashes out at Nitish Kumar’s resignation

Rohini Acharya: RJD supremo Lalu Prasad’s daughter Rohini Acharya on Sunday lashed out at JD(U) president Nitish Kumar for resigning as Bihar Chief Minister. He said the garbage had gone into the dustbin. Nitish Kumar resigned as Bihar Chief Minister, saying things were not working well in the Grand Alliance and INDIA.

Many posts one after the other

Rohini Acharya shared several posts one after the other on her X handle on Sunday morning. In this, he praised Tejashwi Yadav and said that the whole of Bihar is with Tejashwi.

Apart from this, in some posts, he has targeted Nitish Kumar, the NDA, the Bharatiya Janata Party, and even PM Modi.

Tejashwi told a young face

He has written in his first post that he has seen this identity of Tejashwi, on the faces of millions of youth, who have seen the blooming smile …..

After this, he wrote in another post – As long as there is breath left, our fight against communal forces continues…

After this, after reposting some posts, he wrote in his third post – The basic mantra of Tejashwi’s development-oriented politics is to add a new page every day to the glorious story of Bihar, no matter how big the obstacle is in front, never have the courage.

Words like garbage, chameleon used

Rohini has targeted the NDA in her next post. He wrote in the fourth post DNA oops NDA. He used words like garbage, chameleon, and sun in his post.

He also posted a video of his brother Tejashwi Yadav. In it, he wrote that the public will go among the people. Along with himself, he will also boost the morale of Bihar.

Jharkhand reacts to Nitish Kumar’s resignation

After the upheaval in the politics of Bihar, Nitish Kumar finally resigned from the Mahagathbandhan government. Jharkhand BJP president Babulal Marandi said that when Nitish Kumar joined hands with Lalu Yadav, it seemed that this relationship would not last long and today it was proved. Because Nitish Kumar and Lalu Yadav have different identities in the country.

Finally, on Sunday, Nitish Kumar resigned from the Mahagathbandhan government. Jharkhand BJP president Babulal Marandi said that when Nitish Kumar had joined hands with Lalu Yadav.

Since then, it seemed that corruption was loaded on it. Looted so many things in united Bihar. It seemed that the relationship with them would not last long and today it was proved.

Because Nitish Kumar and Lalu Yadav have different identities in the country, one is the North Pole and the other is the South Pole. It was never possible for the two to meet. This door that closes also opens.

KC Tyagi alleges alliance breakdown.

Here, senior JDU leader KC Tyagi has made several allegations while giving information to the media on Sunday. He said a section of the Congress wanted to capture INDIA. He alleged that the Congress wanted to finish regional parties.

JDU leader KC Tyagi said that we regret that we gave acceptance to the Congress party in the politics of the country. This party had become untouchable in politics. TMC, AAP, Samajwadi Party, etc. all tried a non-BJP, non-Congress front. It was only Nitish Kumar who led to the formation of the I.N.D.I.A. alliance and we did the work of re-establishing the Congress in politics and bringing it respect.

Politics has resurfaced: RJD leader

Mrityunjay Tiwari said that Tejashwi Yadav has worked in the fields of education, employment, and health. He said that we would go among the people and sink the boat of NDA and Nitish. The RJD leader said that Nitish Kumar’s politics has resurfaced. Now if someone trusts Nitish, people are watching.

He said that Nitish has set a world record for Paltimar, and he will have to answer to the public. Right now we are at 78, we will cross 200 in the coming election.

The RJD leader also attacked Nitish Kumar for his remarks on women in the Assembly. He said that Nitish has nothing left now, no one wants to live with him.

We couldn’t digest Nitish Kumar’s work: Tejashwi

Tejashwi Yadav explained why the Chief Minister left him. He told what the Chief Minister was afraid of. “Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was scared about how a young man could do as much work in 17 months as he could not do in 17 years.

“The ministry that Nitish Kumar had given us, be it education, or sports, we were doing a strong job. There was a discussion among the people. Nitish Kumar was not able to digest this thing that he could not do it in the double engine by staying with the BJP for 17 years as Chief Minister how is this young man doing so much work in 17 months?

Yes, Nitish is telling the truth, why not take credit?: Tejashwi

At the same time, Tejashwi has given a befitting reply to Nitish Kumar’s credit-taking allegation. Tejashwi Yadav said that yes, the Chief Minister is telling the truth. Why not take my brother’s credit? We have 79 MLAs. The ministry we were given was the one that got the most work. You see how many lakhs of people we have given jobs in the education department. I worked to give a job in the health department. Sports Ministry created. Who brought up the matter of getting a medal, or getting a job?

We gave vision to Nitish Kumar

Tejashwi Yadav said that we were working to raid in the night. These people had stopped the work of the people from the last two cabinets. We were getting Nitish Kumar to do the work. Tejashwi said that we gave a vision. Nitish Kumar was tired.

Tejashwi said that even if these people take votes today. But the game is yet to be played and we will move forward with the vision that we brought. Tejashwi said that the answer will be given by the public in 2024. Their party will end.

Prashant Kishor reveals bitter truth on Nitish Kumar’s retaliation

In Bihar, Jan Suraaj leader Prashant Kishor has again attacked Nitish Kumar for coming to the NDA. He took Nitish Kumar, BJP, and RJD all three together under wraps.

People already know whether Nitish Kumar is Palturam or Palturam is the leader of the leaders. Today’s incident has shown that all the parties in the state are Palturam.

Today it has also been decided that Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, and the BJP are as many people who were saying two or four months ago that the doors of BJP are closed for Nitish Kumar in Bihar.

This Platomar system is because the RJD, which was calling Nitish a future leader till yesterday, will start abusing him by this evening. They will start seeing the mafia in prohibition. Corruption will start appearing in Bihar. I didn’t see it until morning.

The world knows that Nitish Kumar is a Paltumar, it is no longer a matter of debate and discovery. This incident has shown today that Nitish Kumar has colored the entire system in his color, in which both BJP and RJD are as big as Nitish Kumar.

‘Nitish apologized to Rabri Devi with folded hands’

With Nitish Kumar’s resignation from the government, RJD has broken its silence and attacked Nitish Kumar. Senior RJD leader Shivanand Tiwari said on Sunday that the country is shocked by Nitish Kumar’s sudden announcement of leaving Mahagathbandhan and forming a government with the BJP again.

At the same time, Nitish Kumar reached Rabri’s residence on 8 August 2022 on foot with all his MLAs. There he apologized to Rabri Devi with folded hands for breaking the alliance and going to BJP in 2017.

In his speech among all the leaders of the alliance, he said the same thing that he is saying today. At that time they were crying that BJP people were not allowing work to be done. Always talking about confrontation.

On August 9, Tejashwi was sworn in as Deputy Chief Minister, and on August 15, the same Nitish Kumar announced from the stage of Gandhi Maidan that our government of Mahagathbandhan will not only give jobs to ten lakh youth, we will also create one million jobs. Whose agenda was Nitish Kumar proclaiming?

Nitish Kumar, from the older generation of politics, not only accepted the agenda of young Tejashwi but also took it forward. Tejashwi is the future, Nitish is the past, Nitish ji himself endorsed this through his speech on August 15.

‘Tejashwi was overburdened’.

The entire country has seen the way Tejashwi Yadav has behaved during the entire tenure of the Grand Alliance. Tejashwi should be overly pressed so that Nitish Kumar does not get any chance to complain. Even the front pages of newspapers carried an advertisement of the health department with a life-size picture of the chief minister. In it, Tejashwi, who is also the minister in charge of the health department, did not have even a small picture. But Tejasswi ignored all this.

Today Nitish is saying that there was a problem in working with RJD. We were working, but they weren’t working. What would this be called other than Nirguna delirium? If there was any such complaint, Nitish never complained to Lalu Yadav in this regard!

“A self-respecting person like Nitish Kumar…”

The reason given by Nitish for leaving the alliance and going back with the BJP is a lie. What did he announce in the Bihar Assembly after separating from the BJP? I’ll go to dust….! Many samples of such resolutions will be found on Google.

BJP workers have said that the doors of BJP have been closed for Nitish Kumar. Despite all this, only a self-respecting person like Nitish Kumar can think of going there again. What can a man without self-respect be called a man?

Nitish Kumar has been in power for 20 years, formed a government 6 times with BJP and 2 times with RJD

The process of turning Nitish Kumar’s bet in Bihar politics has been going on for the last 20 years. Nitish Kumar has been at the center of power in the state every time. Whether they formed the government with the BJP or with the RJD. Even he has played an important role in forming his party’s government.

When did Nitish Kumar turn around?

Nitish Kumar was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the first time on March 3, 2000. At that time, Nitish was in the Samata Party. This government lasted only seven days. During this time he got the support of the BJP.

After this, on 24 November 2005, Nitish Kumar formed the NDA government in the BJP-JD(U) alliance. Nitish became the Chief Minister.

Nitish Kumar was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the second time on November 26, 2010. His government was also a BJP-JD(U) alliance. This was his third stint with the NDA.

However, after this, on 22 February 2015, Nitish Kumar formed his party JDU government, and became the Chief Minister.

Became Chief Minister again after 10 months

Ten months later, on November 20, 2015, Nitish Kumar again became the Chief Minister. But, this time JDU was not alone. Here, he took oath as CM by forming a coalition government with Lalu Yadav’s party RJD. This was the first time that JDU and RJD came together in power.

Nitish Kumar did not stop here, his convoy continued to move forward. He once again left the RJD on 26 July 2017 and formed the government with the NDA. JDU-BJP was involved in power. This NDA government lasted for two-and-a-half years.

After this, after the assembly elections on 16 November 2020, Nitish Kumar again formed the JDU-BJP (NDA) government and became the Chief Minister.

Separated from the Grand Alliance.

However, two years later, the JDU-BJP relations soured. Nitish again joined Lalu Yadav’s party on 10 August 2022. He formed the Grand Alliance Government with the JDU-RJD alliance and became the Chief Minister.

After 2022 in Bihar, the Mahagathbandhan government lasted for about two years. Nitish Kumar has once again turned the tables and formed a new government of JDU-BJP (NDA) on 28 January 2024. Nitish Kumar took oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the ninth time yesterday.

Conclusion From aAditri Digital

In the complex landscape of Bihar politics, the recent shift in power dynamics, with Nitish Kumar resigning and the BJP rejoining forces, reflects a strategic move aimed at replicating the success of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The BJP’s key objective lies in securing a repeat performance by consolidating votes, a feat dependent on a careful evaluation of public sentiment against incumbent MPs. The move to align with Nitish Kumar and the JDU becomes crucial in maintaining the momentum achieved in 2019.

The intricate electoral arithmetic is evident in the consideration of Nitish Kumar’s significant vote share, which, if diverted to Mahagathbandhan or other alternatives, could have altered the political landscape. The BJP’s collaboration with RLJD and Hindustani Awam Morcha further strengthens the NDA, potentially tipping the scales in their favor.

As political reactions unfold, with leaders expressing opinions ranging from support to criticism, Bihar’s political landscape is undergoing a significant transformation. Tejashwi Yadav’s proactive stance and Rohini Acharya’s social media commentary represent the diverse reactions within the opposition, while Chirag Paswan emphasizes the importance of ‘Bihar First, Bihari First’ in the emerging political scenario.

In the midst of these political maneuvers, the resignation of Nitish Kumar and subsequent realignments underscore the dynamic and ever-evolving nature of Bihar politics, leaving the electorate to anticipate the unfolding chapters leading up to the 2024 elections. The intricate interplay of alliances, shifting loyalties, and public sentiment sets the stage for a compelling political narrative in the state.
