The Final Battle Between BJP and Congress Before 2024 is in Telangana.

Even after running the government in Telangana for 10 years, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao continues to dominate. Both the BJP and the Congress are competing more with KCR – Even if KCR makes a hat-trick, the major reason will be the weak challenge of BJP and Congress.

Campaigning for the Telangana Assembly elections is in the last hour phase. The ruling BRS, Congress and BJP have intensified their offensive against each other for the November 30 polls. The effort has been to make the contest triangular from the beginning, but despite being the target of both political opponents, the entire family of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is fighting against the Congress and the BJP – this seems to be the case after listening to the speeches of the leaders

Keeping KCR’s preparations a little different, the BJP started preparing for the assembly elections with the 2020 Bihar elections. After the BJP’s national executive meeting in Hyderabad in July 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP leader Amit Shah attacked Chief Minister KCR and his family.

Despite a late start to the BJP, the Congress put itself in direct competition with the BRS. Rahul Gandhi, like the BJP, has been accusing Chief Minister KCR of nepotism and corruption. Now a new slogan has also been coined – ‘Modi ji ke do yaar‘… In BJP-style, Rahul Gandhi is calling KCR’s Telangana government the most corrupt government in the country – and asking, what has KCR done for Telangana? And in the same way Prime Minister Narendra Modi turns around ‘the Congress and the BRS are carbon copies of each other – and both are identified with corruption and nepotism’.

In Telangana, the game of cash-for-vote is a game: In the assembly elections being held in five states of the country, Telangana has left behind the remaining four in one case. The Election Commission has recovered about 700 crore cash, which was ready to be distributed among the people for votes. Talking about the complaints received by the Election Commission, most of the complaints are being said against the BRS and the Congress. A video of a minister distributing money for votes has also gone viral, and a complaint has also been filed. In the video, KCR minister Satyawati Rathore is seen putting a bundle of currency notes in an ‘Aarti Plate’ in a village. Reports coming from Telangana show that the price of each vote is being estimated from Rs 200 to Rs 10,000. And this is not a one-sided affair. A huge amount of money is being demanded by the voters in exchange for votes. In many places, candidates are reaching out to middlemen at the local level for help – who can confirm the deal with the voter.

Where did BJP’s Mission Telangana reach?: In just two months of October and November, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made 5 visits. The last three-day tour before voting has been from 25 to 27 November. He reaches Chief Minister KCR’s constituency Kamareddy and asks, why did KCR need to contest from another seat? Congress leaders also wrap up Rahul Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi has to run away from Amethi, KCR has also had to flee. He then explains to the people how the BRS and the Congress are similar, and this is not limited to the politics of corruption and nepotism. The TRS changed its name to BRS – and the UPA also changed its name to INDIA, but despite all this, the history of corruption and mis-governance of both will not change. And similarly, BJP leader Amit Shah tells people in a separate election rally, only the Bharatiya Janata Party can make Telangana the number one state in the country. Amit Shah, like Modi, tries to portray the two as the same, “Voting for the Congress means voting for KCR.” Telangana is also important for the BJP because it has become necessary to establish a foothold in South India. Especially after the departure of the Congress from Karnataka. First, the recent assembly election results have had little impact on the Lok Sabha elections, but the impact of the Modi wave in Karnataka in 2024 will also have to be seen,

In Telangana, the BJP has not been able to beat the Congress despite millions of efforts – and despite a year and a half of continuous efforts, it is seen at number three. Amit Shah’s eyes on Telangana came just when the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections were being held – and his hard work paid off to the BJP. The BJP also surrounded Owaisi, but the Congress started explaining in Arvind Kejriwal style – everyone is mixed.

Two hands between Congress and KCR: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is telling the people, “There is a fight between the Dorala government and the Prajala government in Telangana. Dorala means the feudal government i.e. KCR runs the government, and Prajala means the people’s government i.e. the government that can be formed if the Congress wins the elections. Rahul Gandhi tells people, your chief minister is asking what has Congress done? I want to tell them that the roads on which KCR walks were built by the Congress government… And the school or university in which they studied… The Congress has done the work of building it too. The Congress became active in Telangana much after the BJP. From the campaign to the strategy, the Congress was seen imitating the BJP. At first, Rahul Gandhi had described the BRS as a BJP relative committee.

Now they are saying, ‘Modi ji’s two friends… Owaisi and KCR. And Rahul Gandhi is repeating this line again and again, just as he has been raising the slogan of ‘suit boot ki sarkar’ or ‘chowkidar chor hai’.  And then says, ‘KCR wants Narendra Modi to be prime minister in Delhi… Narendra Modi wants KCR to be the chief minister of Telangana,” he said.

Just as Prime Minister Modi wraps up Rahul Gandhi in the case of KCR contesting from two seats, Rahul Gandhi’s answer is also ready, ’24 cases have been filed against me… They are 24 medals on my chest… Should we file a case against KCR? No, because Modi-KCR are one. “On social media site X, Rahul Gandhi has been quoted by the Congress as saying, “Modi has remote control in his hand… One button with ED, one with CBI… Modi doesn’t even press the button, only shows the remote control… As soon as they show up, KCR sits down.”
