An update has come on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s possible rally in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh because of the Lok Sabha elections 2024. This will not just be a rally of jdu or nitish, but a public meeting of the entire india alliance. CM Nitish’s party Janata Dal United has indicated this.

The matter is likely to come up for discussion in the opposition alliance meeting in Delhi on December 19. Earlier, Nitish Kumar’s rally was scheduled for December  24  at Rohania in Varanasi. However, it was later postponed. JDU says that the rally was postponed due to a lack of place, the new date will be released soon.

JDU chief spokesperson Neeraj Kumar gave an update about the Banaras rally in Patna on Saturday. He has claimed that the rally will be held in Varanasi. It can be a rally of not just JDU but also of the INDIA alliance. However, the central leadership will decide on what will be the nature of the rally.

The JD(U) spokesperson accused the BJP of doing politics in getting the rally in Varanasi cancelled. Neeraj Kumar said that the BJP government of UP in Varanasi has postponed the rally by putting pressure on the college administration. The JD(U) had decided to launch Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s Lok Sabha election campaign from Varanasi in UP.
