Who is ‘Nauksham Chaudhary’? Big Name in Rajasthan Election 2023. Let’s Find Out Her.

The BJP had fielded Nauksham in the electoral fray in Rajasthan this time,  Who has registered a BIG Victory in the Kaman Assembly.

BJP candidate Nauksham Chaudhary, elected from the Kaman assembly constituency in the Bharatpur area of Rajasthan,  describes herself as influenced by the RSS ideology. She says the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)  emphasizes commitment, organization, and seriousness. She joined the BJP for this reason.

A girl from Miranda House College, who studied in London and Milan, was working in the fashion industry in Singapore on a fat salary, she entered the politics of a backward area like Mewat  , so she was bound to get into the limelight.  

30-year-old Nauksham is from Mewat, but from Mewat in Haryana. The native village is Pema Khera of Punhana district. Her mother Ranjeeta Kaur is an IAS officer in the Haryana cadre and father Ram Singh Chaudhary is a retired judge. Her uncle was also an IPS officer. Nauksham’s maternal uncle also holds a high position in the government. Nauksham studied History from Miranda House College, University of Delhi. In an interview, Nauksham has told that while studying at Miranda House, she participated in a lot of debates. Apart from this, She has also been interested in writing plays and acting on stage. She has knowledge of 10  languages.

One of her statements was very popular, “If someone runs a brick, I will answer with stones. I’m making an announcement. We also know how to shoot. We get all the work done.”

After DU, she went to Milan city of Italy for further studies. From here, she studied Masters in Fashion, Business and Brand Management. From Milan, she reached London where she studied Media Promotion and Communication.

After working for some time, Nauksham made politics the priority. Nauksham first came into the limelight in 2019. When the BJP denied the ticket of sitting MLA Raheesh Khan to give him a ticket from Punhana seat for the Haryana Assembly elections. Khan rebelled, contested elections and lost. Victory did not even get Nauksham, finishing third. For the Rajasthan assembly elections in 2023, the party fielded her from the Kaman seat in the Deeg district. And this time she succeeded.

In the Bharatpur constituency of Rajasthan, BJP candidate Nauksham Chaudhary got a total of 78646 votes. Independent candidate Mukhtar Ahmed got 64740 votes. The margin of victory was 13906. Congress’ Zahida Khan, the outgoing Minister of State for Education in the Rajasthan government, stood third. Zahida secured 58130 votes.  Since Nauksham’s native village is in Haryana, She was accused of being an outsider. But She raised the slogan of  “Mewat ki Beti”. Kaman journalists say that there was strong opposition to the Minister of State in the Congress government and sitting MLA Zahida Khan in this seat. Independent candidate Mukhtiar Ahmed cashed in on it. Votes were divided between Mukhtiar and Zahida and Nauksham got the advantage.
